We are excited to announce InnovateX, Nibiru’s inaugural global hackathon, boasting an enticing prize pool of up to $150K.

Timelines
The hackathon will begin on June 15th and end on August 15th. This round of judging will consist of a panel of venture capitalists and builders both internal and external to the Nibiru team.
Hackathon Workshop 1: Intro to CosmWasm Smart Contracts
- Date: July 6, 2023 @ 12pm EST
- Description: Live stream workshop focusing on the fundamentals needed to get started with CosmWasm smart contract development.

1 🌱: New Products & dApps
- Infrastructure tools for AI, decentralized compute, indexing data, etc.
- Lending and borrowing
- Options (puts and calls)
- Liquid Staking Derivatives (LSDs)
- NFT marketplace or applications of NFTs
- Web3 Gaming
2 🚀: Expansion of Existing Products
- Enhancements in bridge user interface
- Development of staking auto-compounders
- Creation of an ERC 4626-style vault for yield products
- Development of an atomic swap tool that composes multiple messages
- IBC router for seamless entry into Sai using existing assets on Osmosis
- Smart contracts for executing swaps on platforms like Injective or Osmosis and transferring assets back
- Development of a Golang SDK, similar to the existing Nibiru Python SDK and TypeScript SDK
3 📊: Data Analytics & User Dashboards
- Mobile application providing an at-a-glance summary of a user’s Nibiru account, including delegated NIBI, LP positions, perpetual positions, and unrealized P&L,
- Development of interactive dashboards and visualizations
- Creation of front-ends for dApps using @nibiruchain/nibijs
- A user-friendly web interface for wallet connectivity and transaction history view
4 👥: Community & User Experience
- Extensions to support diverse wallets such as Leap Wallet, Wallet Connect, and MetaMask
- Development of Telegram / Discord bots to monitor a wallet or its positions and provide daily updates to users
- Telegram / Discord bots designed to send notifications on funding payments and other periodic information
5 💡: Flex Category
- Construct anything you’re enthusiastic about, DeFi-related or not. All submissions are encouraged and appreciated.
Prize Pool
Winners: A minimum of 12 winning builders will share a prize pool of up to $150,000 in $NIBI or stablecoin denominated rewards. Nibiru may provide extended funding and support depending on project quality, timeline, and alignment with Nibiru’s current ecosystem trajectory. Prizes will be distributed through Nibiru’s Layer 1 mainnet.
Prize Distribution: Prizes will be loaded into a smart contract, where a portion of hackathon winnings will be available upfront, with the remainder vesting over the following few weeks. Winners will be required to go through some identity verification process to claim.
