Nibiru Block Party is a points program that rewards users with Aura for actively participating in Nibiru’s ecosystem. Nibiru Aura reflects each user’s contributions, whether through swaps, liquidity provision, lending, or completing quests, and help fuel the network’s growth with productive capital. Onchain activity is tracked by Merkl, while other missions run through Galxe.

Nibiru Aura measures your involvement in the incentive program. Stack aura and climb the rankings by deploying productive liquidity and completing missions.

  1. Aura Farming: Gain Aura by engaging in supported DeFi activities, such as providing liquidity, trading, lending, and completing onchain and off-chain quests.
  2. Seasonal Ranks: Aura reset each season (approximately one calendar month), with a final snapshot at month’s end determining your season rewards.
  3. Boosts: Earn higher multipliers the longer you maintain your liquidity positions.
  4. Aura Dashboard: Track your balance of Aura, boosts, and quest progress.

You can track your progress in real time with the Aura Dashboard. Every mission and liquidity action shows its point value or multiplier, so you always know what you’re earning.

3 | Earning Aura: Missions, Quests, and Multipliers

Powering the Missions: Merkl and Galxe

Merkl, developed by Angle Protocol, is a time-weighted liquidity-mining engine that lets protocols craft precise, efficient incentives based on capital quality and duration. It supports complex reward logic and concentrated liquidity, proven for apps like Uniswap V3, Balancer, Velodrome, and Aura and chains like Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon.

Galxe is a leading Web3 quest and credentialing platform that verifies both onchain and off-chain tasks. Trusted for community growth, user retention, and loyalty programs, Galxe engages millions of wallet-linked users and has powered campaigns to gamify and scale Web3 adoption for Binance, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, Coinbase Wallet, and more.

In the Nibiru Block Party, Merkl measures onchain, time-weighted liquidity, while Galxe powers off-chain quests for users to accrue Aura.

A. Liquidity Missions (via Merkl)

Liquidity missions are powered by Merkl’s trusted, onchain tracking. Each app can have either general liquidity pools or concentrated ones.

General Liquidity Pools (GLP): Earn a base rate per you provide in liquidity per day, with escalating multipliers for longer holds.

Concentrated Liquidity Pools (CLP): Each week, a fixed allocation of aura is divided up based on time-weighted.

  • Active Liquidity: Concentrated liquidity is deployed between price ranges. Only liquidity deployed in ranges that cover the current market price (plus a small buffer) will qualify to accrue points.
  • No Minimum: All deposit sizes are welcome.
  • Weekly Aura Allocation: Calculated as (total active liquidity over 7 days) and shared proportionally by time-weighted active liquidity (TWAL).

B. Onchain & Off-Chain Quests (via Galxe)

In-app missions and other quests will be hosted on Galxe.

  • Core Quests: Bridge assets, execute your first swap, follow @NibiruChain on X, and more.
  • In-App Missions: Season-long challenges hosted by integrated apps (e.g., Sai, PRDT, Element) that run alongside the main campaign.
  • One-Off Protocol Missions: Participate in standalone quests launched by individual applications, which may operate independently of the Nibiru campaign.

4. How Seasons Work (and When to Claim)

  • Seasons run for one calendar month with weekly leaderboard updates and a final month-end snapshot.
  • Rewards can be claimed via Galxe’s portal. More information on the claims process to come later.
  • Points remain non-transferable until the claim contract launches. You may transfer points after at least two completed seasons.
  • A public dashboard will display balances, boosters, and quest status so users can optimize their strategy.
