What is LayerZero (Stargate)?

LayerZero is an omnichain interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication across blockchain networks. To date, it has processed over 135 million messages across more than 80 chains, with over 200 applications leveraging its infrastructure for cross-chain messaging.

Stargate is an application powered by LayerZero and its Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard. Stargate enables tokens to move freely between supported blockchains like Ethereum, L2s, Solana, and Nibiru.
